The Many Moods of Australia

This project will look at the many moods of Australia. Different parts of our country, at different times of the year, in different weather conditions, will show us a wide range of moods. On these pages, you will explore some of these moods in pictures and words.

How it works.

This is a shared collaborative project by our two Year 4 classes. We have been given a collection of words that describe various moods. Our task is to find a copyright free photograph of somewhere in Australia that we think describes that mood. We then write a description of why we think this photo is a good image to show this particular mood. Finally, we try to find the place in Australia where the photo was taken, and then to include a map of that place.

This is all done on this wiki, and you can browse the collection of words using the menu on the left side of the page. As well as the photo, description and map, we will also include a definition of our chosen word, and an attribution to the person who took the photograph.
